Object Description Ducal decoration pendant from the 1956 Caliphs of Cairo Mardi Gras ball. The circular pendant has a sawtooth edge and is surmounted by a crown. In the center are three pyramids with a circle inscribed "Caliphs of Cairo" and "1956". The theme that year was "A Command Performance by John Philip Sousa at the Birthday Celebration of Queen Alexandra".
