Object Description Scepter held as part of the King's costume for the 1938 Dorian's Mardi Gras ball. The first presentation of the Krewe of Dorians was in 1938 with the theme "Carnival in Venice." The ball was held January 14, 1938 at the Auditorium. The scepter was used by William G. Zetzmann Sr., who also used the same scepter when he reigned as King of Hermes in 1938.
