Object Description Victorian Rococo Revival circular papier mache breakfast table top mounted on a corinthian column capital to form a low table. The top is polychromed with a central scene of a crowned, ermine-cloaked woman on horseback flanked by two figures on foot -a falconer and man with two hounds- and followed by a male and female figure on horseback, all set in front of a castle and dressed in medieval attire. This center image is bordered by a two inch band of mother-of-pearl inlay and gilded foliate scrolls. A ten inch outer border features gilded scroll-framed polychromed and mother-of-pearl inlaid vignettes of eight castles. The center portrait resembles Edwin Henry Landeer's 1840 portrait of Queen Victoria on horseback and the castles around the edge are her castles. Marc Antony, the first interior decorator used by Mrs. Williams, mounted the top upon an inverted ornately carved cypress column capitol that came from a house in New Orleans.
