Object Description Includes a printed bulletin, broadside, and form letter issued by the Citizen's Council of Greater New Orleans. The group admonished to public to "help save the youth of America" by not purchasing recordings from black musicians. "The screaming, idiotic words, and savage music of these records are undermining the morals of our white youth in America." Business owners were urged to not carry "Negro records" or allow them to be played on premises or on local radio stations.
